Camp Activities

Campers will experience so many fun things throughout the week of Breakaway starting with a high-energy rally in the morning, dancing, singing, and an interactive drama. Following rally comes art, small group time, recreation, story, and a closing rally to end the day! Your kids will stay busy participating in different experiences all day long!

RALLY

Rally kicks off and ends each day of Breakaway! This a time for all the elementary grades to come together, dance and sing with our Breakaway Hype Team, experience the high-production drama, and learn about the mission project of the week!

CREATIVE ART

These aren't your typical school projects. At Breakaway, our creative arts tend to get messy, but in the best, most creative way possible! This is a fun area where the campers get to let out their creativity and maybe even discover an artistic spark they didn't know was there! They don't always have artwork to bring home but we can assure you they will have a blast creating.

BIBLE STORY

During Bible Story, kids will gather together to hear a Bible story brought to life through interactive storytelling, movement, and engaging moments. This time is designed to help children understand God’s Word in a way that is fun, memorable, and meaningful. Through these stories, kids will learn about God’s love, the life of Jesus, and how the Bible connects to their everyday lives.

SMALL GROUP

Each day, small groups will take time to reflect on the stories they are hearing, discuss questions they might have, have a snack, and do some fun activities that correlate to the story that day. This is also the best time for them to make new friends!

RECREATION

Groups will head out to the recreation area for some high-energy fun! Kids will race through obstacle courses, soar on zip lines, cool off with water games, slide, and take on a variety of exciting challenges. It’s the perfect time to get moving, laugh together, and enjoy some outdoor adventure.

DRAMA

We have actors and actresses who make the drama engaging, interactive, and funny! The stories are based off of the lesson for the week so the campers can continue to learn more about the main theme for camp. Each day is new and filled with even more exciting things happening in the drama.

COMEBACK SUNDAY

The Sunday after camp we invite all campers and their families back to Grace Place for Sunday services that include Breakaway elements from the week, and Baptisms!
