New Believers: Growing Up In Christ
Congratulations!!
You've made the decision to trust Jesus to save you and forgive your sins. Grace Place stands ready to assist you in growing spiritually. You are welcome to attend services, join us for membership classes or connect through a small group. Our goal is to “serve seekers” and “build believers.” In the mean time, here are a few things you need to do immediately.
- Read the Bible daily. Don't skim it; read it and focus on it. Start with the Gospel of John in a Bible you can understand. Good possibilities are: Today's New International Version, The New Living Translation, The Message or The New American Standard.
- Pray daily about everything. You can pray anywhere, anytime, in any position.
- Tell your story. Share with others what your life was like before Jesus and what it is like now.
- Find a spiritually mature mentor – someone who can offer direction and instruction about spiritual things.
- Attend services regularly where the good news of Jesus is the main thing. Get into a Bible-based class or small group right away.
