MOPS – the HOME factor, Begin Here...Go There

Welcome to Grace Place MOPS!  MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be.  If you are expecting your first child, or have kids up through kindergarten – MOPS is for you!

I'm very excited about the coming MOPS year!  We have an enthusiastic and fun steering (leadership) team that is filled with new ideas.  This year's theme is “the Home factor - Begin Here, Go There.”

Your steering team has fun activities, informative speakers, and great devotions planned that revolve around these needs.  We also have activities outside of MOPS meetings planned for the moms (Moms Night Out) as well as the entire family (an evening MOPS & POPS meeting).

We are gearing up for a great year beginning September 10th for MOPS at Night and beginning Sept 11th for the morning MOPS.  We have designed fun mornings, with you in mind!  While your children are entertained in a fun, caring program, you will be enjoying a light breakfast, adult conversations, a devotion, and a program consisting of either a creative activity or speakers on topics such as photography, connecting with your kids, self-defense, focusing on what matters and finding hope.  We will meet from 9am – 11:15am the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from September to May, with the exception of December, March and May, when we will only meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

New this year is MOPS at Night!  This is a 2nd MOPS group that we are launching this fall.  We will meet the 2nd Monday of each month Sept - May (except Jan and April it will be the 1st Monday) from 7-9pm.  Childcare will not be provided.
